About Us
Southside Community Theatre is a ministry of South Church in Hartford, CT.
Founded in 2024, SCT is a multi-generational theatre group, open to all. We are proud to provide the opportunity for families to become involved in a production together. While some family members may crave the spotlight, others may be more interested in the backstage committees. From set design and construction to stage lighting and sound, from costume design and props to publicity and PR… there is something for everyone at SCT!
Our mission is to foster a love of theater in all who walk through our doors, from participants to audience members.
